The Ethical Mentor Agreement has three main parts:
- Respect for our own – and each other’s – intellectual property.
- When we help someone, we do it without strings.
- We agree to use mediation and arbitration – not the court system – to settle any disputes.
All of our meetings are considered a public forum and there are no non-disclosure agreements in place. You are responsible for protecting your intellectual property beforehand.
We grant each other a non-exclusive license to any ideas that come up in a collaboration on someone’s project.
If we feel we want a more in-depth agreement with a mentor or collaborator, we can create a more formal relationship.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text 0=””]The Agreement is part of your pledge to honor the Ethical Collaboration principles.
